We are looking for a Senior Developer Mendix for PIB App


You’ll make a difference by:


The Engineering PLM team delivers solutions to our users and ensures expert support for all engineering & PLM applications, auxiliary applications and related interfaces in operation at Siemens Mobility (SMO). Continuous monitoring of processes, target-oriented and fast intervention and a high awareness of all current issues are key elements of successful operation and high user satisfaction.


  • As a front-end developer (f/m/d) in our PIB environment, you are responsible for the maintenance and further development of Project Insight Board (PIB), software solution based on low code platform Mendix.
  • You will manage and perform development and design tasks with emphasis on programming, customizing, testing and maintenance of applications, middleware, hardware as well as the adaptation of standard software and provide level 3 support.
  • Translating business requirements into UI functionalities with a strong emphasis on UX
  • Ensure that assigned tasks are developed to meet our quality goals and are completed within established timelines

You’ll win us over by:


  • You have successfully finished studies in computer science or electrical engineering or a comparable qualification with corresponding additional skills
  • Developing applications using Mendix version 8 or 9
  • Expert knowledge in Mendix domain modeling and overall familiarity with database structures
  • Experience with UI technologies such as CSS and Javascript
  • Ability to integrate OOP like Java to create custom logic and integrate with Mendix
  • Identify and troubleshoot application quality and performance concerns
  • Passion for user experience and application design
  • Never settling for the status quo: attitude to always improve, challenge, and optimize existing code/functionalities
  • Experience using the software development management tools Azure DevOps.
  • For collaboration we use Git and GitLab, good knowledge of these technologies (e.g. CI-Pipelines, GitLab-Markdown documentation, GitFlow) is highly appreciated.
  • With your communication and presentation skills, you can present technical issues in a clear and comprehensible way.
