What you’ll do

We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative, Senior Back-end Developer who is passionate about technology, fascinated by its unlimited possibilities and can join us in our journey to help every SAP ASE customer to become a best-run business with High-Availability solutions powered by SAP Replication Server. Join us in helping clients to reimagine their business and create new possibilities that allow them to dream bigger, work smarter and change their worlds.

• Iterate rapidly, collaborating with product and design to launch the first versions of new products.
• Work with engineering teams in different geographic locations to design, debug, analyze, and resolve complex problems for customers and SAP internal stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews, sharing your experience and best-practice knowledge with colleagues.
• Lead and drive, all aspects of development life cycle, including requirements verification, solution building and alignments with stakeholders, architectural design, implementation, and testing to meet quality criteria and processes to deliver best solutions to our customers.

What you bring-

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering from a top-tier educational institute with 5-10 years’ work experience. 
• You have some hands-on experience working with React, Docker, Kubernetes, Postgres, OData/REST Protocols, ABAP.
• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL and a track record of producing high quality and testable code.
• Experience with the full life cycle of software development, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
• You enjoy working with a diverse group of people with different expertise backgrounds and perspectives.

Tech you bring-

• You have a strong knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery and networking (TCP/IP) concepts.
• Deep knowledge and experience working on Microsoft Windows, Linux and IBM AIX.
• Hands-on experience with Bash and Batch scripting is a must.
• SAP ASE experience and knowledge of SQL concepts will be strong plus.
• Knowledge of programming languages like Java and Python will be a strong plus.
• Knowledge of Jenkins, NPM, maven/ant is good to have.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Tech you'll learn-

The role provides opportunities to work on a wide stack of SAP technologies and products, including SAP Replication Server, SAP ASE database and several tools, scripts and modules in that environment. You will also build-up expertise for hybrid and cloud operations in Hyperscaler environments, such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and AWS.
