Senior Developer - Go/Python 
 


Summary and Role Information 


We’re looking for Senior Software Engineers to build services that enable all of our development and engineering teams. We engineer bespoke automation solutions to problems within Development, DevOps and operational teams, to allow them to focus on their area of specialization. 


  • Design, development & delivery of new features as part of agile team  
  • Develop in Python, Golang and similar programming languages and deploy using Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes pipelines.   
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployments, infrastructure provisioning, and configuration management.
  • Mentor junior developers and lead scrum teams by setting positive examples.    
  • Own cloud services end to end, implementing distributed systems using hyperscaler services and best practices such as zero-downtime production deployments, canaries, frequent deployments, and feature-flag-driven development.  
  • Execute with an enterprise cloud mindset to deliver on security, compliance, and infrastructure initiatives with engineering program management  

 
Role Requirement 


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required.  
  • 7+ years of excellent professional software development experience  
  • Proficient in writing clean and scalable code using Python, Golang, or similar technologies.  
  • DevOps mentality with an understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Monitoring and Observability 
  • Proficient in code reviews, perform testing, and maintain documentation to ensure the reliability of infrastructure deployments. 
  • Experience with Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and a broad array of Hyperscaler primitives
  • Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) and automated deployment & management of applications 
  • A high degree of intellectual curiosity and a lack of fear for learning something new, open to learn from others and willing to help mentor and teach.  
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with technical product managers, architects, and technical leads  
  • Hands-on experience with cloud native solutions  
  • Experience in Travel and Procurement a plus  
  • Excellent communication in English.
