Know it matters. The Senor Developers are responsible for making application changes to provide the required IT services functionality. This includes the development and maintenance of custom applications as well as the customization of products from software vendors.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
·Work collaboratively with developers on other teams, internal and external, onshore, and offshore.
·Estimate work requests at various levels of confidence.
·Assist with technical analysis of solution design and prototype.
·May assist in maintaining development standards for design, coding, etc.
·Ensures code library is kept up to date in accordance with AXA standards and/or best practices.
·Support resolution of defects during application testing phases.
·May serve as a member of a Major Incident Team.
·Implement and document change in accordance with an approved SDLC process and development standards including Development estimation.
·Unit testing is conducted to ensure changes are of sufficient quality before system testing.
·Providing product support, including technical oversight of problem determination, resolution, and root cause analysis as L3 support.
·Support analysis and resolution of defects during application testing phases.
·Proactively identify and communicate improvement opportunities.
·Leading a team of Salesforce developers, providing solutions, technical mentoring, code review, and coaching.
·Ensuring system enhancements follow appropriate IT guidelines, meet, or exceed user requirements, and are completed in a timely fashion.
·Proactively recommending architecture and implementation of new functionality based on industry best practices and system design.
·Providing detailed design of Salesforce-related projects from inception through production support, including UML diagrams and design documentation.
·Ensuring that the system accurately meets the defined expectations of the business unit and implementing proper testing and performance monitoring.
The Sr. Developer will report to the Release Train Engineer.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
Required Skills and Abilities:
·Strong development experience with a focus on Financial Services Cloud, Lightning Web Components (LWC) framework, Apex, and Visualforce development.
·Experience in Salesforce Service Cloud Omni studio and end-to-end implementation and integration within the financial services domain.
·Expertise in Salesforce configuration, customization, user interface, page layouts, tabs, custom fields, custom objects, and custom settings within the context of financial services.
·Extensive experience in creating LWCs, Apex classes, workflows, approval processes, validation rules, and sharing rules.
·Hands-on experience with REST integrations and environment management, release management, source control, Continuous development, and Continuous Integration tools.
·Must have a thorough understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
·Hands-on experience with JIRA, Agile methodology, source code management
·Designs, develops, and tests a variety of software assignments that constitute a portion of a large project.
·Ability to work constructively in a team environment as well as resiliently.
·Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
·Knowledge / Experience with Test Driven Development is a plus.
