Job Description
  1. Design and develop instrumentation systems for water, wastewater, and desalination projects using Revit and/or Plant 3D software.
  2. Create and modify technical drawings and models based on verbal and visual instructions from project managers and engineers.
  3. Manage work-sets and control visibility in Revit and/or Plant 3D models to ensure efficient collaboration with team members.
  4. Utilize various parameters in Revit and/or Plant 3D families and schedules to optimize design processes.
  5. Integrate specifications into models using Revit and/or Plant 3D, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
  6. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate instrumentation designs with other engineering disciplines.
  7. Perform quality control checks on instrumentation designs and drawings to maintain high standards of accuracy.
  8. Assist in the development of instrumentation design standards and best practices for the organization.
  9. Provide technical support and mentorship to junior designers and drafters.
  10. Participate in client meetings to present instrumentation designs and address technical queries.
  11. Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in water, wastewater, and desalination instrumentation systems.
  12. Contribute to the preparation of project proposals and cost estimates for instrumentation components.
  13. Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during project execution phases.
  14. Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  15. Assist in the development of equipment specifications and procurement documents for instrumentation systems.

Qualifications
  • Diploma (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college, institute or university.
  • 7 - 10 Years of experience in wastewater/water industry.
  • Working Experience using Revit and/or Plant 3D and AutoCAD for water market-related designs.
  • Drafting course from a recognised institute.
  • Working experience using REVIT, AutoCAD and Microstation.
  • Professional registration in their designated home office country or be in active pursuit of such registration.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in instrumentation design for water, wastewater, and desalination projects.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to water and wastewater instrumentation.
  • Experience with project management and coordination in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for client interactions.
  • Familiarity with equipment specifications and procurement processes for instrumentation systems.
  • Ability to mentor junior designers and contribute to team development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
