QUALIFICATIONS
- B.Des or M.Des / BS or MS in Interaction Design, Product Design, HCI, Cognitive Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in product design across various mediums (desktop and mobile), with a proven track record of leading design projects in collaboration with development teams
- Expertise in designing and executing comprehensive research programs that yield actionable insights
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision Studio, ProtoPie, Zeplin, Framer
- Strong understanding of the digital product lifecycle and Agile methodologies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex design concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders
- Proven ability to work efficiently with distributed teams while managing multiple stakeholder expectations
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will be based in our Gurugram, or Bengaluru office as a core member of the Design & Innovation team. You will be part of a global team that is distributed across Boston, New York, New Delhi and Prague.
You will be part of the Tech Ecosystem Design team within the Tech Enablement, Strategy & Experience (TESE) group, a globally distributed team (US, Europe, Asia and Costa Rica) that serves the user research and product design needs of our firm’s internal technology function. This highly diverse team of user researchers, product designers, marketing and communication professionals are creative, high performing, fun and passionate about delivering the best product experience for our colleagues and help achieve positive outcomes for our firm.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will contribute to all aspects of the product development lifecycle, from research and ideation through to detailed design and delivery.
Lead design projects:You will deliver and manage projects from conception to delivery, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals.
Plan/co-conduct user research:You will utilize both qualitative and quantitative research methods to gather deep insights into user behavior, preferences, and pain points; translate these insights into actionable design strategies.
Crafting solutions:You will create high-fidelity designs by iterating on intuitive wireframes, prototypes, and pixel-perfect designs for web and mobile platforms that enhance usability and aesthetics.
Collaborate across teams:You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to define success metrics and ensure seamless integration of design solutions into the product lifecycle.
Mentor:You will provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the design team.
Iterate based on feedback:You will continuously refine designs based on feedback, usability testing, and analytics to ensure product(s) evolves in line with user & business expectations.
Advocate for design best practices:You will be involved to promote a user-centered design philosophy within the organization by sharing knowledge and advocating for best practices in design thinking.
