Role Summary & Role Description


  • Hands on experience designing and engineering enterprise scale data platforms
  • Build Data Platform and ensure long term technical viability of new deployments
  • Apply technical knowledge to design solutions that meet business and IT needs.
  • Ensure that solution exhibits high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert on Data Platforms
  • Analyze programming issues and come up with specific solutions to meet developer needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department
  • Be the liaison with project teams on data technologies and solutions
  • Expected to learn new technologies and continue to expand expertise

Core/Must have skills


  • MUST have demonstrated strong application development or technical support skill sets in SQL/Oracle or Similar Database platforms.
  • Remains flexible to changing priorities, open to new ideas and have the stakeholder success firmly as the focus
  • Strong analytical, technical, problem-solving skills along with being detail-oriented, and able to understand complex customer needs and translate them into end-user products/automations.
  • Ability to prioritize efforts to deliver maximum consumer value and support key business KPI's; assist with smart trade-offs and sequencing of Application roadmap.
  • Ability to manage your own time by appropriately prioritizing design and research tasks while working within deadlines. 

Education & Preferred Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in technology
  • Minimum 15 years related experience in financial services technical projects, experience in data integration projects
  • Knowledge of financial service industry – Data management, Investment Accounting, Performance experience preferred
  • Good with technical troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Software Engineering experience, with SQL as programming languages is required.
  • Should be able to write SQL queries using RDBMS Systems like Oracle/SQL Server.
  • Having experience in support role/function.
  • Experience in using API Development/Debugging Tools for troubleshooting/support. 
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with ETL tools

Additional requirements


Hands-on experience with Cloud-native data platforms like Snowflake/Data bricks is good to have


Experience with Azure/AWS cloud is good to have
