Job Title: Senior Data Analyst, AVP

Location: Pune India

Role Description:

As part of the Chief Data Office, the role will be supporting the Head Data Life Cycle  in their development and implementation DWS’ Data Principles and Policy, aligned to the data governance framework and procedures to ensure quality and efficiency in our Data Management capabilities. The role will play a pivotal role in developing and executing our quality assurance methodologies and metrics to ensure compliance with our data governance practices within DWS through the development. This role will require collaboration and support of data owners and stewards, the management of data governance tools and technologies as well as the assessment of data governance processes and policies. Collaborative working is essential for the role along with an initiative-taking “can do” approach.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and collaborate with data owners & stewards across different departments to ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and facilitate the smooth rollout of new functionality
• Analyse testing results and provide feedback to stakeholders on quality and issues.
• Monitor and report on quality metrics and performance indicators to drive improvements.
• Work with Data Architecture and Data Stewards, to model the information required to support the organisation.
• Champion training and awareness programs to educate employees on data governance best practices.
• Regularly assess and refine data governance processes and policies in line with the industry best practice, to promote continuous improvement.

Your skills and experience

• Proven experience as QA Analyst or similar role or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven leadership and ability to build and sustain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at a strategic level.
• Excellent communication, both in listening and conveying messages to a wide range of stakeholder groups.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Personal ownership to continually learn.
• Ability to promote healthy feedback and learning environment.
• Well orgainsed, with a focus on consistently delivering on commitments.
• Ability to produce high quality presentation materials.
