As quantitative analyst within GADS org, you will be working on business problems in one of the most impactful and strategic domain in the company – Merchant, a focal point for everything related to revenue and margin growth, with real levers to impact the company’s top KPIs. Quantitative Analysts in the Enterprise Customer Success (ECS) team are problem solvers suited to approach varied challenges to enhance merchant engagement and PayPal revenue and margin by providing actionable insights to ECS Org. As part of our day-to-day job, we are collaborating with a wide variety of partners in the company, such as business leaders, product experts, data scientists and engineers to bring our analytical insights to life, impacting the experience and business growth for top PayPal merchants around the globe.

  • Quantitative Analysts deeply understand PayPal’s business objectives, as their impact on PayPal’s top and bottom lines is immense. As a individual contributor, you will be creating analysis and actionable insights that will create and shape the business strategy in some of the most impactful KPIs such as Revenue and Transaction Margin. The team builds analysis and solutions together with our partners, as well as analyze key performance indicators and track financial and operational metrics to enhance experience and enabling growth.


    Your day to day


    • Build new solutions and invent new approaches to big, ambiguous, critical problems.
    • Respond to adhoc requests from business leaders to investigate critical aspects of the business
    • Employ data mining, model building, segmentation, and other analytic techniques to capture important trends in merchant portfolio.
    • Design, build and maintain dashboards and data visualization supporting new initiative launches.

    What do you need to bring:-
    Experience in either an Analyst or Analytics roles


    • 4-6 years of experience working with large-scale complex dataset.
    • Strong analytical mindset, ability to decompose business requirements into an analytical plan, and execute the plan to answer those business questions
    • Strong working knowledge of SQL, Excel, and Python (Knowledge)
    • Excellent communication skills, equally adept at working with engineers as well as business leaders
    • Want to build new solutions and invent new approaches to big, ambiguous, critical problems.
