About the role:
We are looking for a Senior Content Writer(Long form) for our Edtech business vertical Leap Scholar.
The charter for this role will include:
Write and shape long-form content with dynamic prose and strong editorial judgment.
Research, fact-check, and create exclusive content that will make Leap stand apart.
Ensure articles have context and actionable content for customers with sharp insights and lively writing.
Ensure that content meets Leap’s accuracy, speed, balance, and clarity standards and adheres to style guidelines and policies.
Ideal Persona:
Minimum 5 years of experience writing and rewriting long-form content. Writers with demonstrable skills in long-form journalism will also be considered.
Well-versed in the study abroad industry and comfortable writing and rewriting content across different topics and formats.
Familiarity with editorial writing, publishing, and design tools such as Grammarly, WordPress, Canva, and others. Experience with SEO and keyword research tools such as Semrush is a plus.
An ability to multi-task and deliver under pressure. A can-do attitude and the ability to manage time effectively.
Adept at writing quickly under strict deadlines and working with SEO analysts, designers, and domain experts to produce compelling long-form content (blogs, PR articles, ebooks, newsletters, and other marketing collaterals).
A team player who can share clear feedback and navigate the organization to get the job done.
Strong communication skills along with a diverse and inclusive mindset.
