Senior Content Specialist

We are looking for a Senior Content Specialist to join our Biomedicine team in Chennai. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Cortellis Drug Discovery Intelligence. The team consists of 21 scientific experts and is reporting to the Team Manager. We have a great skill set in Biomedicine content curation and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in Life sciences specifically on Biomarkers, Genetic variants and scientific content from various sources including journals, patents, clinical trial and FDA documents.  

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  

• Deep understanding of the scientific literature, patents, clinical trials, FDA documents, biomarkers, genetic variants, biological databases etc., and should be able to take the ownership of Biomedicine policies.
• Knowledgeable in SQL query language
• Phd/Master’s in Life Sciences (Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Genetics, Bioinformatics)

It would be great if you also had . . .  

• At least 5 years’ experience in a global corporate setting and with a strong knowledge of Life sciences content.
• Customer facing experience
• Ability to analyze processes, identify problems, and develop effective solutions.
• Capability to work remotely with peers in an international environment.
• Ability to delve deep into content and results

What will you be doing in this role? 

• Uses scientific expertise to ensure that the information is properly presented and organized following Editorial policies in Cortellis Drug Discovery Intelligence.
• To address and resolve internal and external queries effectively.
• Work together with Product Operations, and Technology in the development process/product.
• Participate in the quality control process to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Initiate/support projects that can enhance content and processes.
• Develop and deliver training sessions for internal team on new policies/enhancements.

About the Team   

The  Biomedicine team is a diverse group of around 15 highly qualified professionals, primarily based in Spain and India. Each team member brings extensive expertise in life sciences, with significant experience in content development, management, and related fields. The team’s culture is dynamic, creative and supportive, embodying core values of excellence, integrity, and care. In this role, you will report directly to the Team Manager.

Hours of Work  

This is a full-time permanent position (40 working hours/week) between 9:00 AM – 06:00PM (IST). You’ll have 40 annual paid hours of volunteering time and the chance of being part of an active volunteering community which promotes diversity and inclusion across the business.
