Job Title: Senior Consultant – SAP SD

Accountabilities:
As a Senior Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for resolving any SAP issues reported by the business users and delivering all enhancements as required by business users. You will be accountable for completing all tasks assigned by team lead and project manager. You will also be responsible for reviewing solutions designed by the team members and proposing improvements. In addition, you will proactively work with business users for identifying and resolving recurring issues and play a mentorship role to Functional Consultants.


Essential Skills/Experience:
- 6-10 years of relevant SAP functional experience in the IT industry and domain experience of 4 years is preferable.
- Educational Background: Any Bachelors degree or Masters degree.
- SAP S/4 Hana Sales Upskilling certification.
- Good experience in Order & Distribution to Cash (O&DTC) processes and relatively strong knowledge in credit management, billing, pricing/rebate/discount, contract management, master data management, and awareness of the new functionalities of S4.
- The candidate should possess broad functional knowledge in his/her domain and in-depth technical knowledge in the SAP SD module.
- Good understanding of business processes in the life sciences / pharmaceutical domain.
- Ability to understand business requirements from business users and prepare and review functional specifications.
- Exposure is essential to highly customized SAP environments and working on interfaces with Non SAP systems.
- Very good understanding of integration of SAP modules in End to end business processes.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and Application life cycle management.
- Ability to work in large and diverse teams. Strong Communication and Relationship Building skills with an ability to Influence others to achieve Objectives.
- Exposure to Run SAP (Solution Manager) / activate methodologies.
- Good understanding of GXP and SOX requirements. Should have working experience in a validated environment.
- Should be able to guide and mentor junior members of the team.
- Should be aware of release governance processes and have experience in working on any incident management tool, JIRA, Solman.
- Strong skills in understanding business operations, communications, customer and partner engagement, and internal stakeholder management.


Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Good exposure in ABAP with extensive working knowledge in SD objects.
- SAP S4 Hana exposure to Transporation Management / Global Trade services / EWM would be good to have.
