Job Title: Senior Consultant – SAP Production Planning

Introduction to role:


Join us at AstraZeneca as a Senior Consultant in SAP Production Planning. You will be responsible for support activities as part of Application Management and for designing global IT solutions, delivering enhancements & projects as part of Application Development. You will support the business teams in process design to ensure alignment with SAP standard functionality. You will function as a source of knowledge in one or more sub-processes, systems and technologies associated with the distribution process area. Accountabilities:


As a Senior Consultant, you will be accountable for the design and implementation of SAP PP solutions, ensuring alignment with business processes. You will also be responsible for data migration projects and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.


Essential Skills/Experience:


  • SAP PP experience of 10+ years with good exposure on PP-PI


  • SAP PP implementation experience from design to completion of deployment


  • Strong knowledge in Business process configuration and interface solutions between SAP and Third-Party Systems (e.g. MES - PAS-X & Shop floor systems - Systech / Metler Toledo)


  • Good knowledge on integration aspects and configuration dependencies with SAP QM, MM, EWM, SD & FICO modules


  • Experience in working on Data Migration projects


  • Strong knowledge and experience on latest S/4 technologies and functionalities


  • Experience of Pharmaceutical supply chain business activities and the required business outcomes within the relevant capability area


  • Good understanding of GXP and SOX requirements


  • Strong collaborator able to work across the teams, communicate in Business & IT terms and work independently


  • Worked in a hybrid environment with a mix of internal and external resources across geographical locations


  • Good Communication and Relationship Building skills with an ability to Influence others to achieve Objectives


  • Good Presentation skills and the ability to convey complex concepts to cross functional audiences


  • Confident to challenge the status quo and facilitate different perspectives to drive solutions


  • Innovative capabilities, agile mindset requiring strategic thinking and foresight


  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise effectively to ensure project goals are achieved


  • SAP Certified in SAP S/4HANA Production Planning and Manufacturing


  • Good understanding on supply & demand planning and knowledge on the planning integrated systems like SAP APO / OMP


  • Awareness about SAP Activate, EML, Agile, JIRA, SAP Solution Manager, BPML & Testing Tools


  • Knowledge of non-SAP technologies in the relevant line of business e.g., MES like SAP MES / PAS-X and Shop floor systems like Systech / Metler Toledo


  • Exposure to SAP EWM / SAP QM / SAP PM will be an added advantage


  • Data Migration with S/4HANA Migration Cockpit
