Job Title: Senior Consultant - Platform Engineer

Introduction to role


Are you ready to take on a dynamic role that balances primary testing responsibilities with hands-on .NET coding tasks? As a Senior Consultant - Platform Engineer, you will exhibit problem-solving skills and work effectively both independently and in team settings. You will demonstrate proficiency in .NET development, writing, testing, and maintaining high-quality code. Collaborate with application and technical architecture teams to plan component, product, performance, and user acceptance tests. Determine all testing environment requirements and tools, review the development process for defect tracking, and manage testers' work to ensure timely and budget-compliant testing. Ensure all testing results are accessible and meet criteria, measure progress during each test, and participate in quality management reviews. Troubleshoot application issues, build, deploy, and release fixes, work on application enhancements and upgrades, and provide resolution for user-reported issues within defined timelines. Proactively monitor ticketing queues and support channels, liaise with internal teams/vendors, follow good documentation practices, and constantly strive to learn and upskill.

- Collaborate with application and technical architecture teams to plan component, product, performance, and user acceptance tests.
- Determine all testing environment requirements and tools.
- Review the development process for defect tracking and incorporate it into the overall development process.
- Manage testers' work to ensure timely and budget-compliant testing.
- Ensure all testing results are accessible and meet entry and exit criteria.
- Measure progress during each test to ensure timely, budget-compliant application testing.
- Participate in quality management reviews to ensure adherence to standards.
- Take responsibility for the traceability of systems requirements.
- Troubleshoot application issues by referring to logs and running application code.
- Build, deploy, and release fixes following standard SDLC and ITIL processes.
- Work on application enhancements and upgrades as necessary.
- Provide resolution for user-reported issues within defined timelines.
- Proactively monitor ticketing queues and support channels.
- Liaise with internal teams/vendors for addressing application issues and project needs.
- Follow good documentation practices by creating and publishing KBAs.
- Constantly strive to learn and upskill according to organizational goals.


Essential Skills/Experience


- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as Health Sciences, Life Sciences, Data Management, Information Technology or Biostatistics or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 8+ years experience
- Experience & Expertise in programming in .NET.
- Basic experience with Azure Cloud.
- Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, and Automated Testing tools.
- Experience in preparing Test plan, test cases and test report/summary
- Experience in executing system/functional test cases along with preparation of Test scripts
- Exposure to JIRA X-Ray Testing
- Experience working in agile teams using methodologies such as SCRUM and/or SAFe.
- Expertise and engineering mindset to help design and implement a Clinical Data Solutions adhering to Products on the Platform delivery model.
- Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders and ensure delivery to a high degree of satisfaction.
- Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
- Confidently communicate using interpersonal skills to lead customers, from technical personnel to senior stakeholders, in urgent or critical situations.
- Knowledge of using and creating build tools and CI/GitHub Actions
