Introduction to Role:
Are you ready to simplify and streamline scientific workflows, data, and applications? As a Senior Consultant - .Net at AstraZeneca, you will work alongside platform leads, architects, BAs, and informaticians to devise technical solutions, estimate and deliver operationally sustainable platform software. You will use your technical acumen to balance between COTS and home-grown solutions, owning their lifecycles and roadmap. This role requires coordinating activities of technical internal and contract employees across multiple locations. 

Accountabilities:
As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for raising expectations within the team, solving complex technical problems, and aligning solutions with scientific and data strategies and target architecture. You will also be expected to adapt to a changing environment and take on new requirements. 

Essential Skills/Experience:
- 10+ years of experience as a .Net developer with hands-on .Net expertise
- Strong proficiency in PowerBI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, and data visualization best practices
- Programming/scripting skills and experience (e.g WPF, WCF, ASP .NET / C# .NET,.Net Core, Angular.js or React.js)
- Database skills (e.g. MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle)
- Experience with configuration management software (e.g. Bitbucket, Git repository etc ..)
- Experience or knowledge in AWS / any Cloud implementation
- Hands-on experience in JIRA
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills

- Experience on SharePoint is desirable

- Experiences in CI/CD pipeline implementation, Maven, IntelliJ/Eclipse and JUnit
