Senior Consultant – Global Security Champions, Pune India

Overview:We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Consultant to join our Regional Information Security Office team in India. This role is critical in supporting the Global Security Champions program and driving security initiatives across our India operations. As a trusted partner, the Senior Consultant will work closely with regional teams to promote and enhance security practices, ensuring a strong security posture and a culture of safety, ethical conduct, and data protection.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead and support the efforts of Security Champions in India, fostering collaboration and enhancing security practices across the region.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive the adoption and implementation of security controls, frameworks, and best practices tailored to regional needs.
  • Focus on vulnerability remediation, supporting the development of secure code practices, and enabling teams to improve their security posture.
  • Lead training sessions, workshops, and awareness programs to promote security best practices across all technical and operational teams.
  • Act as a liaison with technology teams across India, providing guidance on security principles and helping them integrate security into their workflows.

Qualifications
  • 2+ Years’ experience working in an Information Security focused role with a focus on supporting, technical remediation items, control ownership, and managing risks. 
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following; NIST-CSF/NIST-CIS, ISO27001, COBIT, GDPR, SOC2. 
  • Experience in managing risk on a global scale, incorporating regulatory requirements and industry-specific compliance frameworks into the overall risk management framework. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into business-relevant information and develop and maintain close relationships, presenting the need for security to all personnel from senior leaders to specialist roles in a manner that encourages positive engagement and demonstrates the benefits of security. 
  • Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Applications (Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, PowerBI, etc.)

Desirables: 


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a focus on Computer Sciences. 
  • Familiarity with Jira and Agile best-practices. 
  • Understanding of Governance Risk and Compliance Management Tools. 
  • Experience leading comprehensive remediation plans.
