Senior Cloud Architect - VP - Chennai

The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position and will be supporting to manage the SaaS applications that will primarily support Enterprise Services and Public Affairs (ESPA) portfolio. The Engineering lead will engage with stakeholders throughout the application onboarding lifecycle to support the Cloud Architecture Review processes for new and existing SaaS applications The individual should demonstrate an understanding of application security and will exercise judgment within existing practices and policies. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy.
Responsibilities:

• Review Cloud architectures on SaaS platforms to identify security threats using a documented process.
• Maintain a high standard of work in identifying threats and recommending mitigating controls as per Citi cloud policies.
• Engage with vendors to assess and question their technology architectures, ensuring alignment with Citi security teams requirements.
• Participate in architecture and design reviews for new cloud services and solution.
• Experience with integration of Single Sign on (SSO/SAML) solutions using existing Enterprise Authentication with Identity provider and Service Provider
• Mentor and provide technical guidance for junior members of the team.
• Collaborate with Information Security teams including to identify and mitigate threats in vendor cloud platforms, reduce risk and ensure integrity of their cloud environments.
• Impacts the technology function through contribution to technical direction and strategic decisions.
• Promote awareness and provide consistent interpretation of security policy to technology and business teams.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of overall experience, out of which 6+ years experience with Cloud applications with exposure to Architecture and assessing vendor SaaS solutions is required.
• Sound understanding and security architecture/engineering experience with one or more cloud systems such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience in integration of SAML SSO based authentication methodology.
• Sound understanding of API design and development methodologies.
• Exposure to security practices pertaining to authentication, authorization, logging/monitoring, encryption, infrastructure security, network/segmentation
• Strong communication skills interacting with senior technology and business management.
• Good knowledge of software development processes (SLDC/Agile/Iterative/DevOps)
• Software development experience is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred
