Job Title: Senior Clinical Programmer I

Introduction to Role:
Are you ready to push the boundaries of science and change the practice of medicine? As a Senior Clinical Programmer I, you will be primarily responsible for activities related to programming, dashboard development, and validation of data cleaning and review listings for ongoing clinical studies. This role requires high technical skills and industry knowledge to independently perform programming tasks while using judgement about seeking guidance in complex situations. You will contribute to cross-functional initiatives with high complexity. Be empowered to act fast on smart risks and make bold moves in the fast-paced Oncology field.


Accountabilities:
As a Senior Clinical Programmer I, you will design, develop, implement, and validate complex programs created in SAS/Python/R or dashboard applications such as PowerBI/Spotfire. You will work independently with efficiency and quality to process, analyse and report clinical trial data ready for review by clinical study teams. You will contribute to defining and building vital processes and tools to perform clinical programming activities for both global and study level analytical solutions. You will also provide technical expertise, cross training and support as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards for both external and internal users.


Essential Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent in computer science, life science or statistics
- Accomplished programming skills in SAS/Python/R/SQL/ SQL/Power BI/ SpotFire or other dashboard technologies
- Intermediate knowledge of clinical development process
- Good knowledge of industry standards
- Ability to influence relevant stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, writing, communication skills, and ability to work within a cross functional team
- Ability to work in a global team environment
- Technical expertise with data capture, data models, data mining, and visualization techniques
- Prior Experience and understanding of EDC systems like Medidata Rave / Inform / Veeva and Data Platforms like Saama/ Entimice, SAS LSAF etc



- Excellent collaborative skills and the ability to manage complexity and change in a dynamic environment
- Broad knowledge of FDA regulations and GCP/ICH guidelines as related to clinical programming processes
- Experience in producing analytical dashboards with Power BI, Spotfire or other Business Intelligence tools
- Knowledge on MicroStrategy
