Job Summary:

Bechtel’s Information Systems & Technology organization is seeking strong delivery focused technical expert in application and desktop virtualization technologies. Individual needs to be familiar with other application virtualization platforms like Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop.

The candidate will also be required to work closely with other members of the team in creating strategic direction and architecture for enterprise-wide deployment of future virtualization products, services and solutions. The position will also act as a tier three level technical support providing specialized assistance and planning guidance to other Bechtel organizations. The candidate should be willing to work on flexible shifts, to meet business objectives. Shift timings are subject to change as per job requirement.

Major Responsibilities:

• The position will be responsible for supporting, defining standards, package development, and integration of enterprise Citrix Cloud technologies.
• The duties include application package streaming, system/user performance monitoring for both published applications and desktops
• Coordinate/Implement routine and Adhoc tasks with multiple vendors, customers and stakeholders.
• Design and implement custom scripts to mitigate various tasks in environment.
• Execute/document tasks and actions performed wherever necessary.
• Work towards automating routine tasks and nanage incident SLAs.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Recognized degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from an accredited college or university, or specialized courses in networking, information technology, server administration and infrastructure operations, or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Supporting and maintaining a large-scale enterprise Citrix environment.
• 5+ years’ experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop deployments, application Integration/Management/Deployment and/or streaming technologies (App-V or MSIX)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in planning, implementation, administration, and supporting application and desktop virtualization environment.
• Good working knowledge in PowerShell or other scripting languages.
• Proficient in configuring Cloud connectors, Workspace App, WEM.
• Experience with implementing Azure Virtual Desktop and Microsoft Azure in a large-scale enterprise.
• Experience with FsLogix.
• Experience with application packaging using App-V or MSIX platform.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, with a customer-focused mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Providing level 3 support to end users for issues on various OS platforms and the creation and communication of Citrix support, documentation for first level support teams.
