As Senior buyer for Spare parts Procurement (wind and Solar ) , Repairs ( Electrical and Mechanical ) & our Multibrand business – you`re leading development & execution of respective Commodity Strategies in a real cross functional team end2end, combining efficiently regional and global stakeholder perspectives.


How to contribute to our vision


  • As Senior Buyer Service Procurement   for Spare parts procurement, Repairs will have functional & disciplinary responsibility for a Procurement function with strong interaction towards STO , order Management and Global Planning
  • Identification and Qualification of New suppliers for Critical ESN categories in close liaison with Supplier quality department.
  • Provides immediate support for Spare and services to reduce break down due to Spares .
  • Sending RFQ , Supplier selection , Creation of Info records , preparing yearly contracts , Maintaining PMD etc as per the SGRE P2P process.
  • Perform Supplier management in particular supplier development to obtain and develop the best suppliers and to ensure an optimum supply chain.
  • Frequent use of SAP , Ariba and MS office and Provide KPI and Scorecard reporting to help align with Service target.
  • You`ll further ensure application of globally defined methods, processes and systems to achieve high sourcing efficiency and process compliance over respective project demands (e.g. compliant Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, Procurement guidelines, IT systems).
  • You`ll engage in solid collaboration with commodity related stakeholders and relevant central COG-P corporate function such as Cost Value Engineering and Supplier Development to ensure successful implementation of different innovation-based initiatives and establish strategic supplier partnerships.
  • Being a role model of collaboration for your team and towards key stakeholders within and outside Procurement, you are an active driver of change. This way you’re continuously developing your team both professionally and personally. 

Educational Qualification : BE/B Tech in Electrical /Mechanical from Reputed College.

  • Our ideal candidate comes with a min of 5 years demonstrable experience in procurement functions - ideally within Spare Parts procurement management in complex, high material reference based areas.
  • You have a deep understanding of Procurement policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • You also have strong convincing, verbal and written communication skills, especially in English (Hindi and other languages as Tamil will be a plus).
  • We expect you to have excellent negotiation and customer service skills, to work on expert level with broad experience in cross functional commodity management combined with enhanced experience in productivity improvements, Immediate identification of Service vendor and a view for Service business needs.
