About the Role:



We are looking for an Agile Business Analyst with Scrum Master experience to join our data and analytics group. You will manage scrum duties for one squad, perform business analysis, take ownership of the backlogs, and manage stakeholder relationships.



Responsibilities:



  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst with Scrum Master skills.



  • Experience working in an Agile environment.



  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.



  • Strong problem-solving aptitude.



  • Ability to lead and contribute to stakeholder discussions.



  • Comfort in working with various business units and building working relationships with stakeholders.



  • Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure their goals are defined and understood.



  • Analyze end-to-end systems and identify gaps in user functionalities from legacy systems.



  • Create detailed user stories and collaborate with developers to ensure a clear understanding of requirements.



  • Remove impediments to delivery.



  • Passion for continuous improvement.



  • Experience running workshops and conducting interviews.



  • Work with the wider organization on agile practices and their benefits.



Requirements:



  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.



  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis or a related role.



  • Experience in data engineering is beneficial.



  • Focus on epic-level information and a broad understanding of the whole solution.



  • Work with Senior Product Managers and architects to define epics and related requirements ahead of quarterly planning.



  • Support Senior Product Managers in maintaining the epic-level backlog and ensuring that all epics are trackable.



  • Create documentation to support more complex epics ahead of squad breakdown.



  • Define high-level requirements for epics to allow for agile sizing.



  • Ensure requirements are communicated to Design/UX teams and that their work informs further requirements.



  • Understand the priority of epics and collaborate with other team members to agree on their order within roadmaps.



  • Facilitate alignment discussions across squads with other BAs and stakeholders.



  • Support data-related queries for items in scope or utilize squad-based BAs with relevant knowledge.
