Job Description

Your Career


We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Business Analyst to join our JAPAC Enterprise Agreement team. As a Senior Business analyst, you will play a key role to help accelerate revenue growth of our Enterprise Agreement business across the JAPAC region. Your work will help us in achieving commercial outcomes for Palo Alto Networks, while delivering an optimal solution for our customers. 


The Senior Business Analyst will provide support with financial models for enterprise agreements across JAPAC. This role will enable sales teams to to create and position high-quality complex deal proposals to customers with focus on right-sizing the opportunities and value creation. 


Your Impact


  • Senior Business Analyst will partner with the field sales organization to assist with structuring and execution of large enterprise deals, which will involve establishing Install Base information, understanding existing software utilisation, creating BAU models (based on inputs from sales and pre-sales teams). This will require collating information from multiple sources and engaging with customers to present and align on investment scenarios. 


  • Has strong business and analytical acumen to comprehend trends from data with commercial ability to present recommendations to stakeholders, enabling meaningful business case discussion (current state vs. desired future state).


  • Collaborate with all parties involved (Sales, Pre-sales, Deal Desk, Renewals, Legal, Order Management, etc.) to facilitate deal execution. 


  • Provide post-sales support by working collaboratively with Sales and Pre-sales to baseline customers utilisation / consumption of Enterprise Agreements, and enable upsell opportunities and help support technology adoption conversations / drive competitive takeouts.


  • Develop expertise in building deal models and optimize techniques to analyze data effectively.


  • Create documentation to map out processes for non-standard Enterprise Agreement deals.


  • Based on feedback from sales teams, identify opportunities to improve the end to end process for the Enterprise Agreement program. 



Qualifications

Your Experience 


  • Minimum 10 years of experience in technology sector - Deal Management, Deal Desk, Pricing, Software licensing, Operations experience preferred.


  • Analytical and comfortable dealing with data including data manipulation, data / statistical analysis to generate trends, forecasts, observations and reports/dashboards.


  • Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively and professionally (verbal and written) with stakeholders across the organization and customers. Effective in building relationships across differing cultures and backgrounds.


  • Strong business acumen and ability to grasp business requirements from stakeholders.


  • Must be a self-starter, highly analytical and organized, customer-focused, innovative and strong attention to details.


  • Requires proficiency with applications, such as Google Workspace, Excel, CRM systems (SFDC). BI tools (Tableau, Data Studio) preferably.
