Job Description:We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Business Analyst with excellent documentation and conceptualization skills, possessing in-depth functional knowledge of eCommerce platforms, portal development, APIs, SDKs, and integration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Capital Markets, understanding regulatory rule changes, and driving continuous improvements in transaction reporting and associated controls.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Understand, draft, and finalize business requirements.
- Liaise with end customers to gather and document requirements.
- Conduct feature and story elicitation and elaboration.
- Undertake product demos and provide sign-offs.
- Assist IT teams in solution design.
- Contribute to proposals and estimations.
- Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide consulting advisory to PMs on project execution, risk, and mitigation aspects.
Technical Skills:
- Primary Skills:
- Excellent documentation and conceptualization skills.
- Profound experience in the Derivative domain and Capital Markets.
- Solid understanding of financial markets, OTC derivatives, and transaction reporting.
- In-depth functional knowledge of eCommerce platforms.
- Understanding portal development, APIs, SDKs, and integration.
- Multi-system/application knowledge and peripherals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Secondary Skills:
- Knowledge in Foreign Exchange market or Investment Banking.
- Experience in end-to-end platform implementations and application management.
- Understanding of Java technologies, APIs, and SDKs (preferred).
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years in business analysis, with a focus on Capital Markets and regulatory compliance.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Conduct impact assessments and define business requirements.
- Interpret regulatory rule changes and document business requirements.
- Partner closely with teams in Sydney and London.
- Regularly support stakeholders through calls and coordination.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
- Project Management certification (preferred).
