GFAO, within Franklin Templeton Services (FTS) oversees third-party administrators managing fund administration, accounting, custody, and regulatory / financial reporting responsibilities. This role is specific to the distribution of all regulatory documents for Franklin Templeton’s U.S. domiciled open end, closed end, and money market funds including ETFs.
The Senior Business Analyst will serve as the subject matter expert responsible for managing the print, mail, and web hosting of all regulatory documents. The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with multiple internal FT Teams and various Print and Mail agents. The Senior Business Analyst will also collaborate with the GFAO Automation Team to enhance and further automate manual processes, primarily vendor invoice validation and approvals to ensure fees are accurate and paid timely.
Oversee the entire workflow to ensure timely delivery of regulatory documents to both direct and registered shareholders.
Continuously improve and automate the current workflow using Power Automate.
Work with the GSS team (responsible for overseeing the Transfer Agent) to ensure documents are provided to direct-to-fund shareholders.
Partner with Broadridge to ensure documents are delivered to beneficial and registered shareholders.
Collaborate with Legal and GFAO Financial Reporting to ensure TPA provides the necessary regulatory documents.
Coordinate with FT Technology Web Team to ensure documents are promptly web-hosted and include all necessary metadata.
Work with the GFAO Automation Team to automate invoice validation.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5+ years in a corporate environment, preferably in the Asset Management industry.
Ability to work independently, with minimal guidance, and escalating issues that are non-routine.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to interact cross-functionally to identify and resolve issues on a timely basis.
Ability to analyze, document procedures, and manage complex business processes, think analytically, and solve problems.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (including advanced knowledge of excel)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Automate; exposure in implementing automated processes and/or testing new automated processes.
