Pratt and Whitney (PW) has an opening for a Business Process Analyst.
The Vendor Management Office (VMO) within the Digital Technology Transformation Team is looking for a passionate candidate to integrate all aspects of DT supplier relationships and governance supporting the digital transformation initiatives through collaborating and partnering with suppliers, leaders, and functional service owners. A key component of the role is ensuring the ongoing oversight and management of the sourced relationships. The position is designed to support & assist the various DT internal functions in the tracking of their supplier relationships and performance. The preferred candidate will work closely with the DT VMO and Procurement teams as well as external suppliers in this role.
Responsibilities:
Performance Management
- Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze DT supplier data for supplier consolidation, synergies and savings opportunities.
- Develops and maintains program and process by which supplier performance is measured and evaluated.
- Coordinates and conducts periodic supplier reviews/evaluations that consider project-level performance as well as the holistic supplier relationship; manages supplier scorecards, contract compliance and service obligations.
- Create and maintain dashboards and supplier reporting.
- Works with suppliers and functional leads to develop annual goals and performance metrics, including and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Review contract invoice payments and assist with invoice issues as needed
- Track SLA reporting and assess contract performance against SLAs.
- Acts as the escalation point for issues relating to performance or deviations from original estimates, taking action to remedy the issues and managing through to resolution.
- Evaluate supplier spend while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality and the timeliness of deliverables.
Relationship Management
- Create and maintain relationships with DT services suppliers and serve as point of contact for matters concerning strategic contracts.
- Work closely with Pratt &Whitney sourcing team on DT supplier recommendations.
- Reviews Audits reports and Risk Assessments and works with supplier to close gaps and issues.
- Provides support and guidance to functional leads with any supplier contract related issues.
- Support various Vendor Management Office (VMO) activities and data collections and analysis.
- Accountable for establishing a robust supplier engagement plans and governance structure to ensure quality.
- Keeps abreast of industry service delivery trends and strategic sourcing leading practices and provides guidance to functional leads.
- Analyzing market conditions to identify opportunities for growth, such as new markets or new products.
- DT contract management point of contact (labor, software, maintenance)
- Collaborates with team to identify and/or review any proposed revisions to scope or method of supplier performance.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 7 years relevant of project/program management experience; or Advanced degree and minimum 7 years of project/program management experience.
- Information Technology /Computer Science skills, analytical, presentation skills.
- Ability to facilitate and lead meetings/briefings.
- Understanding of Vendor Management Office (VMO) fundamentals, contract management leadership and excellence
- Solid understanding of Performance based contract management.
- Ability to quickly develop an in-depth understanding of the customers, organization and work being performed
- Highly self-directed and willing to learn & pivot quickly with a solid ability to drive and deliver results.
- Problem solving and Interpersonal skills.
- Strong aptitude towards process development and documentation.
- Possess exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in supporting multiple projects and priorities concurrently in a fast-paced environment of rapidly changing solutions and priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate and lead by influence for strategic technical leadership and creation of long-term strategy roadmaps aligning and communicating with all levels of the business and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong skills in analyzing business process and technical solutions to identify and execute on opportunities for continuous improvements.
- Experience working in a heavy regulated environment.
- Developing relationships with service providers.
- Familiarity with sourcing strategies and accounting principles.
