About The Job
This role is in the Power BI Reporting team which is under the Data & Analytics group.
The Product Lead for PBI Report Implementation and Embedding is a critical role that bridges the gap between design, development, and leadership to ensure the successful delivery of PowerBI reporting solutions to be embedded within our web application. This person is responsible for coordinating with Product Owners to understand end user needs, collaborating with the design team on the visual aspects, and working with the Data Cloud / Architecture team to understand data elements. They gather requirements across multiple teams, communicate them to the report developers, and ensure that all solutions align with the company’s strategic objectives. Additionally, this role involves coordinating the monetization strategy and pricing tiers for the embedded reports, keeping the team aligned with the project roadmap and other product pricing models.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1.Collaboration and Coordination:
·Act as the primary liaison between the design team, product owners, data cloud / architecture and report writers.
·Facilitate communication and ensure alignment across all teams to meet project goals.
·Lead regular meetings to discuss progress, address issues, and ensure timely delivery of reports.
2.Report Development and Review:
·Build and develop PBI reports based on gathered requirements.
·Set up PBI Semantic Model for data sharing across the reports and manage dataset
·Review and validate reports created by the report developers to ensure they meet design and functionality standards.
·Provide constructive feedback and support to report developers to enhance report quality and performance.
3.Embedding and Monetization:
·Oversee the embedding of reports into the web application, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
·Understand and articulate how reports and the web application will be monetized.
·Develop and communicate pricing tier suggestions.
4.Roadmap Management:
·Follow the product roadmap, ensuring all milestones are met.
·Keep the team on track by managing deadlines, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
·Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and adjust plans as necessary to accommodate changes in project scope or priorities.
