Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled QC Resource to join our team. As an ETL Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our data processing pipelines. Your responsibilities will include validating data sources, executing test cases, troubleshooting defects, and collaborating with development teams. If you have a strong background in ETL testing, SQL, Python,(optional) and ADF, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

ETL Testing:

• Validate data sources, ensuring accurate extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Create and execute System Integration Test (SIT) plans and test cases.
• Review data models, mappings, and architectural documentation.
• Run queries in the database to verify results against expectations.
• Troubleshoot erroneous results and log defects in HP Quality Center/ALM.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve software-related defects.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in ETL tools such as Informatica and Talend.
• Strong experience with SQL for data validation and comparison.
• Understanding of Robot Framework or any BDD Framework and API Testing.
• Knowledge of both dimensional modeling and data warehouse concepts (star schemas, snowflakes, dimensions, facts).
• Exposure to risk frameworks and mitigation strategies.
• Understanding of web technologies
• Understanding of Robot Framework or any BDD Framework and API Testing
• Experience with Selenium, basics of java and pyspark is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Certifications such as CSTE (Certified Software Tester) or ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board)  is a plus.
