Role Purpose: 


The Customer service specialist shall be responsible for processing of information, ensuring the data integrity and Quality. The position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.


Designation: Senior Associate – NVOCC operations


Base Location: Navi Mumbai


Reporting to: Assistant Manager


Key Role Responsibilities:


  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Meticulous attention to detail for accurate data entry, including capturing details of documents related to Ocean Transportation.
  • Good knowledge of Export and Import documentation process.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently, such as accurately inputting information into desired systems following established guidelines.
  • Customer-focused mindset for exceptional service, meeting deadlines for assigned tasks related to booking creation and updates.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and willingness to learn, supporting time-sensitive projects as required by the business.
  • Team player with a collaborative and positive attitude.
  • Problem-solving ability to address customer inquiries effectively.
  • Basic tech proficiency, including CRM tools and software.
  • Effective time management to meet deadlines and deliver goals as per defined KPIs.
  • Empathy and patience when dealing with customer concerns, following instructions as mentioned in the Process Manual.

 Education & Qualifications: 


  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Should have good communication skill in English and must have good proficiency in Email Writing skills.
  • Should have a minimum typing speed of 20 wpm with 95% accuracy. 
  • Problem solving, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work in Shifts as per allocated roster and Country to work, fine to work in night shift as well. 
  • Dangerous goods experience and ability to read and process dangerous goods documents.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Documentation processing with a reputed shipping/logistics organization.
