We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate with a strong background in Microsoft 365 Administration and Security to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Security, Conditional Access, and Microsoft’s Defender Suite, along with a solid understanding of the Center for Internet Security (CIS) Benchmarks. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who is passionate about driving security and compliance initiatives, enabling secure, productive workplaces, and providing top-tier client service.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Microsoft 365 Administration: Oversee and manage Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and other M365 services to ensure operational excellence and security.
  • Security Implementation and Compliance: Implement and maintain Microsoft 365 security tools, such as Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and FIDO security keys to enforce strong identity and access management practices.
  • Microsoft Defender Suite: Configure and optimize the Microsoft Defender Suite, including Defender for Office 365, Defender for Endpoint, and Defender for Cloud Apps, to provide comprehensive threat protection across the organization.
  • CIS Benchmark Deployment: Apply CIS Benchmarks to Microsoft 365 and Windows environments, ensuring all configurations meet industry security standards and best practices.
  • Conditional Access Policies: Design, implement, and troubleshoot Conditional Access policies to ensure secure access to resources while providing a seamless user experience.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents using Defender tools and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions.
  • Compliance and Data Protection: Work with Microsoft Purview, Information Protection and Labeling, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Insider Risk Management, and Communication Compliance to help clients meet compliance requirements and manage sensitive data effectively.
  • Client Consultation and Training: Act as a subject matter expert, advising clients on best practices for Microsoft 365 security and compliance, conducting training sessions, and addressing security-related queries.

Required Skills & Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 Administration and Security.
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft 365 security tools, including Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and the Microsoft Defender Suite.
  • Familiarity with Center for Internet Security (CIS) Benchmarks for configuring secure environments.
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Insider Risk Management, and other compliance tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
