Senior Associate, Indirect Taxation

Location: Trichy

CTC: 3.6 L PA to 4.8 L PA

As a Senior Associate in Indirect Taxation, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with GST regulations, preparing and reviewing financial reports, and interacting with the GST department. You will work closely with senior managers and partners to manage client assignments and projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Reconciliation of GST Liability & Credit with books and returns.
  
• Computation of GST Liability, Interest, Late Fee, and Penalty, if any.
  
• Reconciliation of GSTR 2A and ITC availed.
  
• Reconciliation of E-Way Bill vs. E-Invoice vs. GSTR - 1.
  
• Reviewing transactions on a monthly basis from a GST compliance perspective.
  
• Preparing GST MIS and Legal Compliance Reports.
  
• Filing of GSTR-1, 3B, GSTR-6, GST-ITC-04.
  
• Interacting with the GST department.
  
• Assisting in statutory audits, GST audits, and other investigations by the department.
  
• Drafting replies to return scrutiny notices/show cause notices.
  
• Representing clients during GST departmental audits.
  
• Assisting senior managers/partners in managing client assignments/projects.
