The Position


As a Senior Associate Professional for MDM in GBS Finance, you will:


  • Oversee complex global master data management processes, including cross-divisional setups.
  • Ensure precise and timely preparation and maintenance of GL, Fixed Assets master data in the SAP ERP system, aligning with Finance Master Data operational activities, regulatory requirements, internal regulations, best practices, and business objectives.
  • Undertake day-to-day processing of master data tickets as per relevant SOPs, business matrix, SLA timelines, and KPIs. Facilitate the setup and maintenance of Global & Local Master Data.
  • Emphasize the development of functional understanding in Data Quality and other relevant domains. Nurture in-depth knowledge of master data management, SAP systems, and navigation.
  • Incorporate a basic understanding of Pharma product, Regulatory, Artwork, and lifecycle events. Provide and maintain setup for finance, customer, and vendor master data, ensuring adherence to applicable SOPs and work practices.

Qualifications


  • 3-6 years of expertise in Finance/Assets/Treasury/GL/Fixed Assets Master Data Activities.
  • Proficiency in performing data profiling and data quality assessment of source systems to create data quality.
  • Efficiency at locating information and troubleshooting master data-related errors during transitions.
  • Participation in continuous improvement projects within shared services.
  • Understanding of downstream and upstream master data process impacts (e.g., P2P, R2R, O2C, etc.).
  • Experience providing support on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office
