PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT departments and consultants to ensure smooth implementations and maintenance across HR Tech ecosystem, with Workday at the core.
- Assist in implementation and maintenance of HR applications such as Workday (HCM, Recruiting Learning, Benefits). Total Rewards systems like HRSoft, ADP, CloudPay and analytics tools like Visier.
- Lead software development efforts in one or more languages/frameworks such as SQL, Python, MongoDB, .Net (Plus).
- Prepare all necessary documentation, document technical solutions and other related deliverables using tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Assist end users in application/system issues.
- Available 50% during US PST hours and 50% during Ares India working hours to be able to interface with US resources and autonomously guide the Ares India HR Tech dev team in solutioning.
- Lead and manage Ares India HR Tech team members and being responsible and taking ownership of the team’s work product and quality in context of broader initiatives.
- Liaison to the application architecture, business analysts and PMO teams to ensure guidelines and process across all technology initiatives are aligned properly.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computing, Finance, Information Systems or related fields
Experience Required:
- 6-8 years of relevant HR domain, experience in applications and hands on development and delivery experience implementation in Workday applications and other HR solutions. Minimum 3 years in team lead/manager capacity.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Workday modules such as Core HCM, Security, EIB integrations, Studio Integrations, Prism Data Warehouse, and Adaptive Workforce planning
- Expertise and hands on software development required in one or more languages/frameworks such as advanced SQL (Required), Python, Mongo DB and Jenkins knowledge (Plus good to have).
- Experience with enterprise applications integration required.
- Strong data modeling skills and experience with diverse data structures
- Experience with Azure and Cloud technologies is a big plus.
- ServiceNow Workflow and Onboarding process will be good to have.
- Good to have experience in Microsoft SQL Server - Integration Services, Analysis Server, Reporting Services and Report Builders such as Power BI
- Strong experience and versatility in application architecture, design and implementation across a variety of platforms
- Knowledge/Experience in RPA (Robotic Process Automation)/Power Apps is a plus
- Experience managing and delivering projects with Agile and traditional frameworks
