This role is responsible for day to day Supply Chain execution of Operations. she/he supports , Cost Management, Purchase order placement and follow up for delivery scheduled Management.

Senior Associate Engineer - SCM


Job responsibilities:


  • Well Versed with Semiconductors, Passives, Connectors, PCB’s, Relay/Switches etc. components used on PCBA.


  • Must have worked in Electronics Management team with Global spend and Familiar with Market conditions for electronics.


  • Must have experience to Manage OEM’s/Distributors


  • Must have experience in Supplier relationship management


  • Must have working relationship management with EMS suppliers.


  • Must have experience on shortage management of electronics components in complex environment.


  • Must have experience in expediting the component shortages / process bottlenecks w.r.t changing forecast /usage environment.


  • Prioritizes the support activities for the global plants as per the internal customer criticality.


  • Provide root cause corrective action when needed.


  • Participate and lead continuous improvement opportunities


  • Proactively avoid material shortages and demonstrates horizontal deployment.


  • Expedite part shortages specific to Electronics commodity


  • Proactively drive root cause corrective action (RCCA) with the supply base


  • Interact with suppliers to communicate delivery expectations, forecasts, design changes, lead time management, and material expedites or delays to ensure suppliers meet Supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD) goals.


  • Proficient in generating reports from tools and platforms available within the organization.


  • Proficient in SAP environment.


  • Shall be familiar with know how on MRP in SAP for prioritizing the tasks in line with the internal stakeholder’s expectation.


Qualifications:


  • Education requirements:  Bachelor’s Degree


  • Required skills:  Excellent Communication skills, familiarity with ERP MRP systems (preferably SAP & Macola)


  • SME in Excel, Word, Power Point, and Access and MS Office.


  • Preferred experience:  SAP / Macola ERP system experience; 4 to 6 or years of previous site buyer experience in electronics
