Job Description

1.Create and maintain customer master data submitted by the business units through various channels. Ensure that the data complies with the appropriate business rules and is completed timely and within the defined service metrics.


2.Develop in-depth knowledge of global master data standards and how the data supports each business unit.  Provide this knowledge to the business to facilitate the maintenance of master data and solving issues affecting downstream activities/transactions.


3. Analyze data against standards and work with the business units to correct data that is incorrect or inconsistent with the defined standards/rules.


4.Collaborate with the businesses, and resource groups including Purchasing, Sales, Accounting/Finance and Supply Chain to ensure understanding of master data requests, processes, and standards.


5.Maintain supporting documentation in compliance with established record retention requirements.


6.Support all M&A, Data Governance projects and initiatives as needed


7.Communicate frequently and openly with other teams to maximize benefits gained by sharing ideas and lessons learned to improve business process and provide a stable and reliable environment for our business units.
