Job Description
- Review and understand all forms of legal and tax documents (including, Subscription docs, Investment Management Agreements, Limited Partnership Agreement, Side Letters, W8/W9)
- Set up new Investors in the Ares Investor Master, capturing data from various sources.
- Assist in coordination of fund closes/investor onboarding – ensuring all teams are aware and that all signoffs are received in time for closing (e.g., AML/KYC complete, tax forms received, and tax signed off). Follow up on items which are not complete at closing to ensure timely resolution.
- Reconcile data captured to fund admins and following procedures to resolve any breaks
- Update Investor static data ensuring Ares verification procedures have been followed
- Interact with Ares Fund Administrators and well as internal teams such as IR, Fund Accounting, Legal, Compliance and Tax
- Escalate issues and/or delays in responses to senior team leads.
