My client is a leading top-tier Law firm in India and is looking for Senior Associates to join their prestigious Capital Markets practice led by a highly respected individual with extensive experience in securities offerings, regulatory compliance, and high-value transactions.
Job Title: Senior Associate – Capital Markets
Location: Mumbai
Salary: As per industry standards
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the execution of high-value capital market transactions, including IPOs, QIPs, rights issues, and other equity or debt offerings.
• Oversee due diligence processes, drafting of offering documents, and regulatory filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws.
• Take charge of client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on securities laws, regulatory compliance, and transaction structuring.
• Manage and mentor junior associates, guiding them through transaction processes and providing legal and professional development.
• Liaise with clients, lead managers, and regulatory authorities (SEBI, Stock Exchanges, etc.) to navigate complex transactions.
• Contribute to the business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, preparing pitches, and participating in client meetings.
• Keep clients informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and new capital market opportunities.
Note: Responsibilities will extend beyond these tasks and include involvement in other areas of capital markets law, depending on client needs and ongoing projects.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Senior Associates (5-6 years) with proven experience in capital markets law, with a focus on IPOs, QIPs, rights issues, private placements, and securities law compliance.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing complex capital markets transactions, including structuring, negotiating, and closing deals.
• Expertise in drafting and reviewing offering documents, such as DRHPs, prospectuses, private placement memoranda, and other key transaction documents.
• Ability to work on high-profile, multi-jurisdictional deals.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
