Job Description

Role and Responsibilities 1. Application Design & Development
  • Design and build scalable, secure, and efficient systems for university departments.
2. Strategic Oversight
  • Recommend modern technologies and tools to optimize applications and align with industry trends.
3. Team Leadership & Project Management
  • Lead development teams, ensuring timely delivery of projects within scope.
  • Oversee multiple projects, manage risks, and ensure technical feasibility.
4. Technical Excellence
  • Ensure high-quality code, proper documentation, and effective use of repositories like GitHub.
  • Propose and implement improvements to existing applications.
5. Stakeholder Engagement
  • Align technical requirements with business objectives through effective coordination.
6. Training & Documentation
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and provide user training.
7. Security & Compliance
  • Ensure the security and integrity of code and data.

Skill Set Required 1. Technical Proficiency
  • Hands-on experience in software development, .NET framework, RESTful APIs, and cloud infrastructures (Azure/AWS).
  • Expertise in Azure services (App Services, SQL, Functions, DevOps) or equivalent AWS services.
  • Proficiency in microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless computing (Azure Functions/AWS Lambda).
  • Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow) and Python for automation and data integration.
  • Strong project reporting, documentation, and adherence to OWASP guidelines.
2. Project Management
  • Skilled in project management tools (JIRA) and agile frameworks.
  • Experience with software deployment automation and identity management (Azure AD, OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSO).
