Senior Application Engineer, Software Engineering

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead and manage a team of application engineers to deliver advanced engineering design support for embedded system including microcontrollers/processors/FPGA platform and software solutions development.
• Develop embedded reference design and software engineering solution
• Verification, characterization, and documentation of procedures and standards & Responsible for managing time estimation of design activities.
• Monitor and maintain the safety and quality of products, as well as write tests and development documentation.
• Design, develop, and document specifications throughout the project life cycle.
• Analyzes technology trends, human resource needs, and market demand to plan projects.
• Forecasts operating costs of department and directs preparation of budget requests.
• Provide technical training and development opportunities to team members to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Foster team growth through mentoring and professional development.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electronics/semiconductors, embedded systems, and FPGA design.
• Proven track record in embedded processor, FPGA and firmware & software development.
• Experience managing engineering teams and resources.
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems and software development.
• Excellent people management skills and the ability to lead a diverse team of engineers.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
