We are looking for a senior Android developer with 6+ years of experience, responsible for the development and maintenance of digital SDK integrated in publisher apps aimed at a range of Android devices including mobile phones, tablets and TVs. Your primary focus will be development of Android sdk features for audience measurement and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, advanced design, and the creation of quality products is essential.

Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Design and build sdk(library project) features and in-house sample apps for the Android platform
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the sdk
  • Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
  • Passionate about writing clean, well organized, and production-ready code

Skills


  • Proficient with Java and Kotlin (minimum 5 years Java/J2EE + 1 year Kotlin experience is must)
  • Experience of working with Android framework, third-party libraries, and APIs
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  • Understanding of Android Design principles and interface guidelines
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills to investigate crashes in production
  • Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools such as profiler
  • Knack for benchmarking and optimization
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools Gitlab and Github
  • Familiarity with continuous integration with Jenkins
  • Experience using dependencies managers like Gradle and Maven
  • Experience with native player components is preferred
  • Solid understanding of the Agile/SCRUM SDLC using ALM tools such as JIRA
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
