Your Career
Palo Alto Networks is looking for a highly motivated Senior Analyst based in the Bangalore Office who is excited to join a high-growth Company. The member will be a part of the SOX and External Reporting and Assurance team and report to the Senior Manager, SOX and External Reporting and Assurance.
The Senior Analyst, SOX & External Reporting and Assurance plays a critical role in partnering with the business and IT stakeholders and in the execution of SOX 404 audit procedures and other external reporting assurance. The role will also be responsible for supporting the SOX team during the Indian Internal Financial Controls (IFC) specific to the India Companies Act 2013 requirements.
The ideal candidate must have a basic understanding of audit and controls testing, project management skills, be a self-starter, be proactive, confident in interacting with management and external stakeholders, and bring business experience and passion.
The candidate must demonstrate the ability to adhere to our corporate core values of Disruption, Execution, Collaboration, Integrity, and Inclusion.
Your Impact
Coordinate delivery and organize audit requirements for SOX assessments, walkthroughs, and testing procedures.
Perform testing or review testing work papers prepared by contractors.
Evaluate audit findings and coordinate remediation of deficiencies.
Develop business relationships and proactively interact with process owners and management to gather information, resolve problems, and make recommendations for improvements and optimization.
Demonstrate initiative and provide timely updates while working on multiple tasks effectively.
Perform other tasks and other external reporting control testing as assigned in support of the SOX team and corporate objectives.
Your Experience
Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent military experience required.
5+ years of audit and/or risk advisory experience from publicly traded companies and/or public accounting firms, preferably in a multinational corporate environment and/or Big 4.
CA, CPA, CIA, CISA, or equivalent certifications preferred.
Audit and/or risk advisory experience is essential, including previous roles in external and/or SOX/ internal audits.
Strong SOX experience in auditing business and IT processes, with a preference for experience in liaising with internal and external stakeholders, managing business relationships, and partnering with key stakeholders.
Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with all levels of management, external auditors, and all functions of the company.
Detail-oriented and team-oriented with a strong learning capacity and ability to multitask, adapt to change, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
