About the team 


Fame Futures Contract Data helps firms in the global derivatives market to keep track of new products and maintain accurate data on existing ones in their middle and back-office systems. The data is sourced from publicly available exchange sources, then this Data is further used by downstream applications.


What you will be doing 


As an Operations Analyst you will take care of assigned Exchange Region, wherein your task would be to keep the static data updated of the markets in the said exchange region. Keep track of new listing circulars and Corporate Action events for Future and Options contracts. Proactively working on solving issues raised by client on ticketing platform. Maintaining the quality of static data by making periodic changes in sync with the exchange setups. You will be involved in investigating price breaks for the assigned exchanges wherein you would need to check the contract setups and liaise with exchanges to seek solutions for client queries.


  • Regular check on various exchange website to track New and Corporate Action Circulars.
  • New Future and Option contracts setup and keeping the existing setups updated due to Corporate Action Circulars.
  • Interact with internal teams on contract setup details, coordinating with Client Service team to understand issues raised by clients.
  • Understand the contract setup needs of new exchanges going live and setup contracts ahead of listing date.
  • Work on inhouse automation initiatives to automate manual processes.
  • Support contract setup requirements for various Backoffice applications.
  • Keeping track of exchange holidays and updating in house referential with correct holidays.
  • Working on issues in timely manner and provide resolution to the query raised on Ticketing system.
  • Maintaining and improvising quality of Static data.
  • Actively work on process Automation initiatives.
  • Proactively work on client’s issues raised on Ticketing platform.
  • Keep track of changes made or planned events of the Exchanges.

What you bring: 


Skills


  • Knowledge of Future and Option contracts and Exchange Traded Derivatives.
  • Expertise in Investment Banking Solutions/Capital Markets Application/Back Office.
  • Well versed with Corporate Actions.
  • Adept in Project Office Tools like Word, Excel/Pivot, PowerPoint and Jira.
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal communication.
  • Proven client facing experience, excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Work on reports to track KPI for assigned markets.
  • Knowledge of Ubix and GMI Back Office will be an added advantage.

Added bonus if you have:


  • Knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, basic SQL and Macros will be an added advantage.

Qualifications


  • MBA Finance/Extensive Capital markets/Derivatives experience.

  • Fluent in English, Excellent communication skills written and verbal communication.
  • Able to create Future and Option contracts correctly without errors and as per Exchange circulars.
  • Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements.
  • Excellent co-ordination and management skills.
  • Enthusiastic, highly motivated and detailed oriented with "can do" attitude.
  • Innovative Contributor – able to identify & suggest & drive improvements with team (locally & globally)
  • Must be able to perform under pressure
  • Willing to work in UK and Asian shifts, Flexible schedule as the role is part of a global team.
