Job Description

Responsibilities will include:
• Working on annual and quarterly Reserve review process;
• Working on annual and quarterly Actuals vs Expected (AvE) reports;
• Contributing to the improvement, creation, and/or implementation of processes to expand capabilities, improve efficiency, and enhance effectiveness;
• Working on Large claims adjustment to support the reserve review and AvE processes;


• Improving/updating new and existing quarterly and annual processes.


• Working on netting down of the Reserves from Gross of RI to Net of RI


• Working on IFRS reporting


Qualifications:
• 3+ years of actuarial experience.


• Good actuarial exam progress in general insurance and preferably SP7&SP8 in IFOA/IAI


• Prefer Reserve review and Reserve risk experience in general insurance


• Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel and SQL. 


• Working knowledge of Word, VBA, other MS Office applications.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide clear and concise verbal and written communications of analyses and results;
• Should be well organized and able to maintain good documentation and record keeping.


• Strong communication skills
