This includes the management and execution of the corporate reporting and planning requirementsThis Senior Analyst position is responsible across a broad spectrum of Europe Region’s corporate reporting and planning requirements including support of strategic processes and initiatives. In this highly important and visible role, the Senior Analyst will lead the preparation and execution of Europe Region’s Contra Revenue ($Billions). The role is critical in providing actionable insights through advanced analytics and positioning of Mastercard as a market leader across the European regionKey role responsibilities:o Support the month end close process through the analysis of contra variances against budget, forecasts, prior year actuals, key business drivers and initiatives for the Europe Region including Regional, Global and MWP Deals o Interact and work along with respective country finance business partners as well as Global MWP Planners / stakeholders to identify and execute the development of the annual plan/budget and forecast for scheduled cycle. Role holder will also be responsible for ensuring accurate data is uploaded into Hyperion, CRS budgeting and forecasting toolo Understand the current bottoms up Contra Forecast model, maintain and improve that to help ease consolidation of rolling forecast schedules as well as enhance seamless tracking and analysis of Europe’s Contrao Support analysis of key Global, MWP and Pan-Europe deals and help in building performance tracking mechanism for these material deals/customerso Identify and communicate revenue risks and opportunities with the aim of increasing customer value and revenue growth. Furthermore, respond promptly to ad-hoc requests for information and analysiso Oversee the identification of market trends, competitive positioning, and emerging opportunities to shape strategic direction by providing top class analyticso Partner with stakeholders across Europe and various functions to drive the execution of Forecasts and budget. Ensure alignment across functions, including Finance, Business Development and APEMEA Consolidation team, to drive shared outcomes and measurable successo Execute on financial process improvements by building and maintaining financial tools to perform analysis and modelling; review and create suggestions to financial systems. Investigate and create opportunities for automation Key required skills:o Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and analysis to senior executives in a clear and impactful manner. Strong experience in creating high-quality presentation decks that influence decision-makingo Proven experience in leading the development of high-impact strategies in a top-tier consulting firm or within a corporate FP&A function covering forecasting, month end process for Revenue/P&Lo Expertise in advanced data analysis, with a strong ability to turn complex datasets into actionable insights. Advanced proficiency in Excel, with Alteryx and Hyperion experience is desirable to build sophisticated models that support decision-makingo A strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to identify innovative solutions to complex business challenges, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.o Strong soft capabilities with the ability to manage and influence cross-functional teams, build relationships with senior stakeholders, and align strategic initiatives with broader business objectiveso Deep understanding of key business drivers and the ability to align analytics and strategy initiatives with overarching organizational goals. Experience in working across a matrixed environment is highly desirableo A high degree of adaptability and agility, with a strong ability to move quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, ensuring swift and effective decision-makingo Experience and knowledge in Payment industry is a desirableAbout you:o Educational qualification - Chartered Accountant, CFA, CPA or MBA Financeo Experience in financial reporting, forecasting roles with advanced knowledge and experience with all phases of financial planning and managemento Self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering success while operating in a team environmento Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency and accuracy and to manage multiple activities of different nature in a condensed timeframeo Excellent communication and presentation skills and strong relationship management and networking skillso High intellect with good commercial acumen and a creative approach to problem solving.
