Job Duties
Major Duties
Production of financial risk monitoring and reporting deliverables for key EMEA legal entities. This will include aspects of Credit Risk, Market Risk, Liquidity Risk and Prudential Risk.
Engage with Capital Markets functions (first line) and Corporate Market Risk Team (second line)to resolve issues with respect to limit excesses, VaR breaches, FX position excesses, etc.
Demonstrate understanding of daily reports across Credit, Market and Liquidity Risk; query rationale for large movements; challenge potential inaccuracies, etc.
Support prudential tasks such as risk input into legal entity capital plans (ICAAPs and ICARA and stress testing (Event Driven Scenario and Reverse Stress Testing).
Assist with the Enhanced Credit Risk Assessment (ECRA) process in having developed an understanding of credit risk concepts during the year (BR, PD, LGD, EAD, etc.).
Assist with assurance work such as Collateral upstreaming, CREST CAPS and Internal Liquidity Stress Testing.
Support the review and enhancement of documentation, procedures & controls to enable accurate and timely reporting.
Well versed with risk related concepts, business processes, and reporting requirements.
Communicate effectively with senior management and other partners (written and verbal).
Qualification
Post Graduate in Finance or FRM or MBA with relevant industry experience
Skills Required
2+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas of financial services is desired: Credit and Counterparty risk
Strong knowledge of financial services and good understanding of financial risk.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated success challenging and influencing outcomes.
Experience with any of the industry products – Murex, Moody’s Credit Lens, MSCI Risk Manager, Cognos, Power BI etc., is an added advantage
Strong data, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications such as work, excel and powerpoint.
