Overview Main Purpose The Sr. Analyst Compliance would be a member of the Global Compliance & Ethics department that overseas PepsiCo’s compliance program with the responsibilities of promoting, monitoring and enforcing the Code of Conduct. The Analyst’s role is to support, coordinate and assist “Routine” Speak Up investigations and the Control Environment agenda to drive PepsiCo’s ethical culture. This job will be focusing on: Overseeing and managing the internal “Routine” investigations within the Compliance & Ethics Function. Assist in ensuring compliance with PepsiCo’s global Escalation Policy, COC and Values. Assist in promoting, monitoring, and enforcing a culture of integrity through coordinating and implementing awareness campaigns, training and other similar initiatives. Assist in implementing TPDD Program Ensuring and maintaining the relevant data and documents on various Compliance Portals. Responsibilities Accountabilities - Strategic Contribution: Assist in promoting, monitoring and enforcing the Compliance & Ethics program through consistent adherence to PepsiCo’s Global Escalation Policy, Values & CoC. Collaborate and work closely with the cross-functional teams such as Legal, HR, Control, Finance, Operations, to build and maintain commitment to PepsiCo’s Values and Code of Conduct. Coordinate with HR Managers and Key Functional stakeholders the adequate communications that build and emphasize maintaining a culture of integrity. Operational Contribution: Evaluate the severity of speak-ups reported internally, spot potentially severe violations (PSVs) and ensure timely and proper escalation to Compliance Director. Investigate and/or co-investigate with field investigators routine speak-ups. Prepare initial investigation Plans for routine Speak ups. Work closely with field investigators to ensure efficient implementation of the investigation plans. Oversee the investigation process of routine speak-ups to ensure adherence to PepsiCo’s global Compliance & Ethics policies and standards. Review initial investigation reports of routine speak-ups and ensure high quality of the write-up and the investigation techniques. Update the Case Management System with all relevant data related to Speak-ups. Ensure closure of routine speak-ups on Case Management System within the applicable deadlines. Propose appropriate recommendations to mitigate or prevent inherent risks within PepsiCo’s processes. Follow up on remedial actions and recommendations and ensure enforcement of decisions resulting from substantiated CoC violations. Provide a top-notch trend analysis of internal and hotline speak ups and use trends to design the required awareness campaigns to address pain areas. Train employees on PepsiCo’s values, CoC and the importance of ethical performance and conduct. Design and implement awareness programs and Compliance & Ethics initiatives to raise employees’ awareness of ethical matters. Maintain the required documentation and filing of investigation notes, employees’ grievances / internal speak ups Process Management: Act as a SPOC for all Compliance & Ethics Policies & processes related to routine speak ups and their investigations. Collaborate with Functional HR Managers, Legal Team, and field investigators to ensure their alignment and understanding of the internal investigations process. Reporting: Prepare Monthly Trend Analysis Reports. Prepare Quarterly Trend Analysis reports. Ensure thoroughness of routine speak ups investigation reports. Generate ad-hoc Trend Analysis reports of referral, routine & PSV speak ups. Qualifications Key Skills/Experience Required - Knowledge: Legal background. Previous experience in handling and leading investigations is highly desirable. Experience in Employee relationships with a specific focus on Employment Laws Experience in Internal Controls & Audit and financial fraud mitigation Knowledge of Policy implementation, communications on Policy awareness and training is desirable. Education: Though, Bachelor’s degree in law is preferred, any other relevant discipline with relevant experience is acceptable. Prior Work Experience: Minimum of 7-8 years of experience, preferably in a senior role in the Compliance & Ethics function or employee relations role or Control/Risk management. Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and one other local Indian language both written and verbal. Problem Solving: The job holder must be able to handle tough and critical situations and issues that arise during investigations and must have excellent conflict resolution skills. Must have the ability to think independently, using sound judgment, in an environment that is often ambiguous and dynamic. Ability to learn quickly. Planning Ahead: The job holder will have to anticipate challenges and proactively recommend process enhancements accordingly. Innovation: The job holder must be able to introduce efficiency through automation and creative ideas to enhance employees’ awareness of ethical conduct.
