Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the entire trade lifecycle from confirmation to settlement, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Validate and match trade details (equities, fixed income, FX) with counterparties, custodians, and clearing houses.
  • Investigate and resolve trade breaks, fails, and discrepancies with counterparties, brokers, and internal teams.
  • Ensure adherence to market cut-offs and regulatory guidelines for trade settlements.
  • Identify and mitigate settlement risks, counterparty risks, and currency risks.
  • Implement internal controls and best practices to minimize operational risk.
  • Ensure compliance with local and global regulations (e.g., CSDR, TMPG, MiFID II..).
  • Escalate unresolved issues to senior partners while providing potential solutions.
  • Act as the key point of contact for brokers, custodians, Investment managers, and internal teams.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior partners and peers, ensuring knowledge transfer and best practices.

Experience & Qualifications


  • A College or University degree and/or relevant work experience is required.
  • 3+ years of experience in Banking and investment operations experience with trade or cash support, or settlements within financial institution.
  • Strong knowledge of Trade, Cash, FX operations, and settlement cycles.
  • Familiarity with settlement platforms (e.g., SWIFT, CLS, DTCC, Euroclear, Crest).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for query and issue resolution.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Flexible to support in NA shifts (7:30 PM or 10:30 PM IST)
