Job Summary


The Senior Account Director is the primary contact between Accenture Song and the client. In this role, the Director will leverage all internal expertise – Account Planning / Brand Strategy, creative and production to deliver on the client requirements.


Job Responsibilities


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the client ensuring that Song meets their needs and build long-term relationships
  • Project Leadership: Lead projects from concept to execution, coordinating with different teams viz, creative, strategy and operations to ensure successful and timely delivery of communication plans
  • Manage the Account P&L including budget creation, allocation and control. Ensure client profitability based on pre-set goals
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing account and grow the business
  • Track, report and regulate client issues and performance and provide reports to senior management
  • Mentor junior account management team members

Basic Qualifications


  • Minimum of 10 – 12 years’ experience in an Account Management or similar role, preferably in an Agency setting
  • A Master’s degree / MBA in business or marketing.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience working in an Agency environment with creatives, strategists and clients
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience working with MNC clients, preferably in the consumer tech space
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Commercially minded, believes in the power of brands
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
