Who we are looking for
State Street Global Technology Services (GTS) – is seeking a skilled and proven Technology Manager, Vice President to coordinate hiring, training and development of people in the Security Operations space. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader with 15 years of experience managing technical teams, and managing complex technical projects in a large global corporate environment. The candidate will also be required to develop and refine efficient processes and tactics to track and manage the periodic progress of the people in their organization.
What you will be responsible for
- Day to day team management of India based security professionals as part of a larger follow the sun support model.
- Leading or participation in Security operations team projects as assigned
- Ensuring adherence with the regulatory requirements of each technology tower under management
- Collaborating within a global Security Engineering and Operations matrixed management organization
- Ensure the timely training compliance of all direct and indirect reports
- Recruiting new talent in alignment with the maintenance and growth of team
- Setting employee goals in alignment with the greater organization
- Performing periodic employee reviews in a matrixed organization
- Escalating communications where appropriate

- Demonstrated experience working in an environment managing multiple, concurrent deliverables with shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
- Results-oriented ownership mentality and attention to detail and accuracy
- Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of the Workday tool would be helpful
- Working knowledge of Clarity PPM tool would be helpful
- Knowledge and familiarity with regulatory projects
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years proven related experience in people management, technical project and or program management.
