Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking a hands-on technical Security Manager who is passionate about cybersecurity and ready to take on new challenges. We are looking for an experienced security professional to help lead our Security Operations team, responsible for safeguarding NVIDIA's assets, employees, and systems. You will apply your expertise to act as a regional security leader, develop and implement security policies and technologies, manage security operations, and help lead a team of security experts. What you'll be doing:



  • Serve as a regional security leader supporting the implementation of policies and technologies. 


  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the security team, including incident response, investigations, and threat management. 


  • Develop security architectures that are resilient, scalable, and adaptable, and ensure the protection of critical assets, data, users, and systems.  


  • Lead and help train the team ensuring we are well-prepared to handle security incidents. 


  • Investigate and resolve security breaches and threats, providing detailed reports to leadership. 


  • Collaborate with other leaders to determine security needs and integrate security measures into business operations. 


  • Stay at the forefront of cyber threats and vulnerabilities, anticipating potential risks and driving proactive measures and updates to our strategy to safeguard the organization.  



What we need to see:



  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, security management, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 


  • A minimum of 10+ overall years of experience in cyber security, with at least 5 years in strategic leadership roles.  


  • Solid background in security operation, incident response and threat management. 


  • Hands-on experience with security technologies and equipment, intrusion detection systems, and access control systems. 


  • Extensive experience collaborating across functions and influencing multi-functional teams.  


  • Demonstrated ability to run and lead successful, diverse teams.  


  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a track record of managing and motivating a security team. 


  • Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing security policies and procedures. 


  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively across interpersonal boundaries and geographies. 




Ways to stand out from the crowd:



  • Master's degree in cyber security, or a related field.  


  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar. 


  • Background in technology or semiconductor industry.  


  • Experience in security tools development and automation. 


  • Proven ability to lead and manage security operations in global, distributed teams.
