Role Overview:The Cyber Security Engineering IAM team are looking for an independent, proactive and aspiring individual to work within a customized team who handle LSEG’s Virtual Directory Services, and sit the wider Security Engineering team. You will act as an advocate for VDS and broader IAM solutions to technical and business partners.If you have experience in directory services and a curiosity about building innovative identity solutions, then we wish to hear from you!Superb interpersonal skills, proactive and having worked in multicultural, global teams, is essentialResponsibilities:Support the design and strategic direction of the Virtual Directory ServiceDesign, engineer and handle Radiant Logic VDSBe responsible for the design infrastructure and software supporting the VDS system for secure operation, resiliency and high availabilityTechnical delivery of project requirements within stipulated timelinesApplication on-boarding to the VDS solution in line with agreed IAM policies and principlesMaintain operational documentation, configuration information and other proceduresYou will be providing issue support for any incident, working closely with engineering and global security operations teams where requiredWhat you will bring to the role:3+ years of enterprise identity experienceKnowledge of identity management technologiesKnowledge of, and design experience with, identity services, such as Virtual Directory/Radiant Logic, SSO, LDAP, Federation, LDIF, and Kerberos in a large customer-facing corporate environmentIn-depth knowledge of an enterprise-scale Active Directory environment.Technical leadership to integrate different directory servicesExperience of performance analysis, monitoring and tuning as well as application performance characteristics and methods for optimizationWindows and Unix system administration experienceKnowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud service authentication and authorization modelsDeep technical knowledge of TCP/IP principles and LAN technology and use of network capture toolsExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsStrong critical thinking and analytical skillsExperience leading projects and initiatives under minimum supervisionExperience of using/handling SailPoint and CyberArk (desirable)Practical experience with scripting or coding with a virtual directory identity storeOutstanding relationship management, teamwork, and interpersonal skillsCalm when having to work to timescales and multiplex environmentsYou will have a high level of integrityAbility to identify and run prioritiesDriven, proactive and solution-focused approach to workAbility to clearly communicate ideas to all audiencesExperience in working with ITIL-based service processes and functions (experience with ServiceNow beneficial)Experience and knowledge of implementing technical solutions in a sophisticated, multi-stakeholder environmentLSEG is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider.
